Beach-side New Year’s Eve Party

A beach-side bungalow on Clifton beach, that is what New Year’s Eve dreams are made of. For this one, we rolled right into the beach theme, bringing out all our navy, blues, neutrals and white’s and create a bunch of cosy nooks around the garden and along the patio overlooking the sea. It created a laid-back atmosphere for a group of close friends who were celebrating together. We also coordinated the bar and dj setup, and they booked a brilliant private chef to cater a home-style Italian feast for the mostly international crowd.

We know it all went down well because when we came to strike after the event, we were given lasagne! We’d seen the chef boiling each individual sheet of pasta the day before and my goodness, it was every bit as good as we imagined! Safe to say, we were packing up on a post-New Year’s hangover ourselves, so it was a soul-saving gift from the pasta gods.

This was also the first time our stuff was hired for a long-term stay, which we’ve now coined ‘Villa Dressings’ - have a look if you ever want to spice up your vacation rental with some of our hired items. It’s the hotel concierge version of hiring items, but for a holiday. ;)
